The full-fledged world view using CG according to the wave of the song
It consists of angles that are likely to appear in games and movie trailers, and in order to focus on the energy, it focused on expressing it powerfully using wire high-speed photography.
What was the charm/attractiveness of the artist that you wanted to shine through this project?
I wanted to show the acting side of the aritist. While planning a movie trailer-like music video, I wanted to show if the artists were this good at acting.
What was the attractiveness of the song that you wanted to make it shine through this project?
The song was so exciting, cool, big. I wanted to make that feeling as much as possible, so I wanted to show the full-fledged world view using CG according to the wave of the song.
What kind of directing principles did you set up and work on to convey the charm of the song and the artist?
It consists of angles that are likely to appear in games and movie trailers, and the lyrics of "Bbamba bbamba bbam bbam bbam bbam bbam bbam" appear in the lyrics of the song, and in order to focus on this energy, it focused on expressing it powerfully using wire high-speed photography.
Please share the process of deriving the visual concept of this work. What was the key concept, and what visual materials did you use? Were there any movies or creations that helped you in the process of conceptualizing?
After the basic scenario came out, I contacted a famous person for cyberpunk concept art and worked together for the first time. The first styles I came to were literally concept art. After that, we talked a lot with our CG team and created a city center. The first scene is a very good example.
"CG according to the wave of the song "
When was the most memorable moment during the pre-production process?
The question of “will this work??” kept going on in my head while preparing. No one knows, but at this time I was nearly suffering from insomnia. (I'm the one who sleeps in almost a minute)
When was the most memorable moment during the post-production process?
I got goosebumps when I saw my first downtown scene. I think I made up my mind when I saw a very unique city. I wanted to continue filming the music video with CGs.
Please introduce any techniques or production methods that Sunny Visual attempted in this work. Please think about any of the staff you worked with who you want to mention.
I think we have developed a lot in terms of the amount and quality of CG. Since the preparation period is long, I think CG comes out well. While making each asset, I saw it and configured it, and thought the process itself was unique. Due to the nature of the music video production period, many parts have to be done quickly, but I think I did it properly this time like a real work.
How did you react after this work was released to the world? If you have any memorable feedback from artists, fans, and the same industry, please share it.
I'm glad that after this music video was released, it seems like our company has become a company when people recall ‘cyberpunks’. Many people mentioned this work and said it was the best music video in our company.
